SS-graduation ceremony

Form four students graduating

Since introducing an incentive programme linking bonuses to grades the National Form Four Examination results for Shimbwe Secondary School – equivalent to GCSE’- pupils have been very encouraging. The programme has been running for several years now and has proved a useful extra motivational tool for our hard working teachers.

Repairs to School dining hall

As you can see pupils are now sitting and socialising comfortably

Despite torrential tropical rains resulting in mudslides that caused damage to some sections of the dining hall we’re glad to say we’ve overcome these setbacks and the structure looks great.

The furnishing of the dining hall with tables and seats was also completed.

Second 100,000 litre Reservoir

Second-res-main-picWith the completion of the state of the art in-patient, out-patient and maternity services- health centre in Shimbwe expected to provide a service to the Shimbwe Community and beyond, a second 100,000 litres Reservoir was a necessity.

Glad to say construction work has begun, made possible by generous and kind benefactors who visited Shimbwe, Tanzania for the first time. They were very impressed with what has been achieved, and kindly increased their contributions substantially.
